INTRODUCTION

Maximum Development Organization (MDO) is a non-profit, Non-Governmental and non-political Organization, established in January 2011 having its base at District Khairpur Mirs’ Sindh, Pakistan. MDO is registered under society act of XLVI of 1961.

MDO has got a quality human resource with a specific focus of work at safety, security, precautions and preventions to avoid road accidents and other road related mishaps through various services and mobilization tools, advocacy seminars, awareness sessions and fixture of informative messages on roads and cities as well. Apart of these MDO strives to insist on education, information technology and skill development in order to enhance the literacy and efficiency ratio so that the beneficiaries may get a path to be self-footed and hence the ratio of joblessness may be minimized.

MDO has developed positive working liaisons with various active organizations viz. Indus Resource Center (IRC), Sindh Education Foundation (SEF), Lead Pakistan, Marvi Rural Development Organization (MRDO) and Peoples Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI).

M I S S I O N

MDO aims at securing the lives of humans by preventing the road accidents and mishaps through various tools and techniques and to improve the conditions of devastated roads. Organization also aims to maximize the ratio of literacy and employment by minimizing the illiteracy and joblessness through its institutional development.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Seeking preventive measures against road accidents and mishaps.
  2. Facilitate the road accident victims for First Aid and Medicare from nearby Health Facility.
  3. Youth empowerment by education & skill development.
  4. Development of health conditions by prevention of various infections like, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Bird flu, T.B, and general problems of health.
  5. Education empowerment of children especially MARA (Most at Risk Adolescents) & EVA (Especially vulnerable adolescents).
  6. Women empowerment by formal and non formal education, skill development and providing knowledge about domestic violence, their basic rights, and establishment of small industries. Poverty alleviation by providing microfinance facility to rural and sub-urban areas.
  7. Environmental protection by various campaigns of mass mobilization.
